Covid-19 | New security measures at Disneyland Paris

Following the first case of coronavirus diagnosed in a night technician from the maintenance team of the Disneyland Paris park, and in view of the increasing number of infected people, some new measures will be taken tomorrow to ensure the safety of visitors:

Concerning the attractions:

The single rider lines are temporarily removed.
The air conditioning systems no longer recycle air. “Fresh” air is injected into the attractions and theatres.

Concerning shows and parades:

Shows are maintained. To respect the measure to limit the gatherings of more than 1000 people, the maximum capacity for Mickey and the Magician is reduced to 900 people.
The parades are maintained.

Concerning the meetings with the characters:

Cuddling with the characters is now limited.
Princesses disappear from the Princess Pavilion. The only time for you to greet them will be during the parade.

Concerning the restaurants:

In order to limit the risk of contamination, cutlery will be rotated more quickly. In some restaurants, metal cutlery is replaced by disposable cutlery. This measure applies to breakfast and staff restaurants.

The princess breakfast has been altered to feature Minnie and Mickey instead.

Concerning toilets :

Hydroalcoholic gel is available free of charge in each.

Concerning the park in general :

A thorough cleaning of alleys, water points and disinfection of the queues is implemented.
Cleaning with disinfectant wipes for rented strollers and wheelchairs

“To date, there are no closures planned and if there are, it will be by decision of the Regional Reeve,” says Lucas Gheddab for the TCRC Disney. We will be sure to let you know as soon as we hear any new announcements about the park.
