Disneyland Paris has unveiled a number of new attractions that will be added to the resort in 2026.
By the end of summer 2026, visitors will enjoy an enhanced experience at Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing, thanks to the addition of new scenes inspired by original drawings by Imagineer and Disney Legend Marc Davis along the Rivers of the Far West ride.
The new figures, such as a buffalo in a meadow or adorable raccoons and a skunk on a floating tree trunk, have been specially redesigned and produced for the occasion by the teams at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris. They can be spotted during the peaceful cruise aboard the iconic Molly Brown boat, which has recently been renovated from bow to stern.
At Walt Disney Studios Park®, work is underway on the covered outdoor queue for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™, which will open next spring.
This themed space will enrich the history of the Hollywood Tower Hotel by representing the remains of the Patio, a place of rest and relaxation located within the former outdoor pool area, which was highly appreciated by the elite of show business in its heyday but has since fallen into disrepair. Each material element has been carefully selected to fit into this universe and echo the Pueblo Deco architecture of the site. As for the accessories and decorative elements scattered throughout the queue, they will provide clues about the tragic events that befell the Hollywood Tower Hotel, preparing visitors for what awaits them inside. Right next door, the new merchandise outlet inspired by 1930s florists will open its doors in early 2026. The existing kiosk has been completely redesigned to create a boutique that will blend seamlessly into World Premiere Plaza and its Art Deco-inspired theater district.
The venue will offer an authentic atmosphere, thanks to the many details scattered throughout the shop, such as bouquets of flowers, photos celebrating the history of the place, and even a refrigerator reminiscent of those used by California florists at the time.
The major renovation of Ratatouille: The Totally Crazy Adventure of Remy, which began in October 2025, continues for the Imagineers and teams at Disneyland Paris.
On the agenda for this refurbishment are technical and scenic improvements to offer visitors an even more immersive experience in the world of Pixar Animation Studios. In particular, the queue will be enhanced with a new scene depicting a Parisian artist’s studio teeming with details and accessories: canvases on the walls, paint splatters, and a basket of fruit that could well whet the appetite of the adorable neighborhood rats.
In the attraction, new props, projections, and oversized set pieces—currently in production—will enhance certain scenes and reinforce the feeling of being shrunk to the size of Remy and his friends. The family attraction is scheduled to reopen in spring 2026!
On January 5, 2026, Annette’s Diner will close its doors at Disney Village for a major renovation lasting several months, focusing in particular on expanding the kitchens and completely refurbishing the dining room, including the floors and furniture, while preserving its charm and retro atmosphere that has been so popular since 1992.
Some iconic elements will be completely reimagined, such as the bar, whose layout and aesthetics will be redesigned to pay homage to the chrome look characteristic of diners, and the banquettes, which will feature a new design inspired by 1950s car seats, in colors typical of the era such as pink, blue, and vanilla yellow.
When it reopens, Annette’s Diner, with a slightly increased seating capacity, will continue to bring the golden age of rock ‘n’ roll and the 1950s back to life, much to the delight of visitors.
Starting in January 2026, major renovations will begin at Disney Sequoia Lodge, enhancing and elevating the guest experience while preserving its beloved wooded, authentic, and warm atmosphere.
The design will pay tribute to the beauty of nature, drawing inspiration from the forest in the pure tradition initiated by Walt Disney and his animators, and will celebrate the many Disney Characters that live in the forest.
Every space, from the guest rooms to the lobby, restaurants, and shops, will be renovated and redesigned as an ode to wildlife, conducive to rest and contemplation. As a reminder, the hotel will remain open during the renovations, which will take place in phases so as not to impact guests’ stays.
