ShareYourEARS – make dreams come true by sharing your Mickey ears!
Post photos of your Mickey ears to spread a little magic!
Disney and Make-A-Wish have been partners for over 37 years, making dreams come true for children and young adults across the world by bringing them to Disney parks. Make-A-Wish, founded in 1980, is an American charitable organisation which brings moments of hope, courage, and joy to gravely ill children aged 3-17 years old during difficult times. Today, the Make-A-Wish association exists in 48 countries including France.
Since the first wish granted in 1980 at Disneyland Park in California, Disney has granted more than 120,000 wishes across the world in its parks, cruise ships, or movie studios.
After a succesful first edition last year, Disney and Make-A-Wish are bringing back their #ShareYourEars campaign this year. Until December 25, 2017, web users can post photos of themselves wearing Disney ears on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) with the hashtag #ShareYourEars. Users who don’t have their own Mickey ears can get creative and use anything they like – such as plastic plates, for example. The most important thing is to have fun and let imagination take over!
For each post on social media with the hashtag #ShareYourEars, $5 will be donated to the Make-A-Wish foundation.
Since Make-A-Wish® France was created in 2005, Disneyland Paris is proud to have contributed to granting hundreds of wishes. Its commitment to the organisation will be strengthened on 2 December, when a solidarity day will be held, full of creative surprises. Disney VoluntEARS and volunteers from Make-A-Wish will use their imagination and creativity to give a magical day to children and their families. For this event, volunteers will run a Mickey ears workshop where children can personalise their own pair, and participate in this great initiative.
