Celebrations a Voyage back in time Annual Pass Event

The Disneyland Park Celebrations a Voyage back in time event celebrated 4 seasons in one magical night for annual pass holders! Despite the awful weather, the rain didn’t dampen any spirits as the Disneyland Park came to life from 9pm to 1am celebrating spring, summer, Halloween and Christmas.

On arrival annual pass holders were greeted with a Celebrations gift bag containing a beautiful gold foiled event poster, a passport for your voyage back in time and seasonal passport stamp like stickers! The park was bursting with life and light, Main Street USA played host to the season of Christmas meet and greets, Fantasyland hosted Spring, Adventureland hosted summer safari, and Frontierland of course hosted Halloween under the watchful eyes of Phantom Manor! Characters at each meet and greet were dressed in their seasonal outfits for even more festive fun.

The Central Plaza brought us on our voyage back in time with 4 amazing shows ‘Lets celebrate the arrival of Spring’, ‘Room for Adventure’ (which played homage to this summers ROARing success of the Lion King festival), ‘Lets celebrate Halloween’ and ‘Lets celebrate Christmas together’ all with the picture perfect backdrop of Sleeping Beautys Castle. Other shows on the night included Pirates and Princesses: a new confrontation which took place in Videopolis taking us back to the explosion of music and colour that was the season of Princesses Vs Pirates, and to close out our voyage back in time perfectly we got to experience Disney Dreams; of Christmas one last time!

As well as tasty park snacks and discounted shopping , a huge bonus is the lack of queue time for attractions for favourites like Big Thunder Mountain , Phantom Manor, Pirates of the Caribbean , Hyperspace Mountain and many more!

The shows were incredible and even though they lacked Disneys usual fireworks display, the combination of live action show and castle light displays made it even more magical than ever! There is definitely something extra special about the park at night time, maybe it’s extra pixie dust! It was a fantastic event with a season to suit all tastes and we can’t wait for the next one!

Til next time, TTFN, ta ta for now!
