Disney D-Light and Afterglow are two new daily nighttime shows at Disneyland Paris launched for the 30th anniversary. These new state-of-the-art magic sequence immerses visitors in a unique, innovative and futuristic performance.
This show uses the existing technical installations of Disney Dreams and Disney Illuminations by mixing video projections on the castle, illuminated water jets, lighting effects, mist, lasers and famous Disney songs. For the first time at Disneyland Paris, 200 drones were integrated into the finale to create a choreography of lights in the sky. This ballet of drones forms a sparkling giant number β30β, the logo of the 30th anniversary, itself taking up the contours of Mickeyβs head!
For this high-flying show, Disneyland Paris called on the expertise of the Bordeaux-based company Dronisos. On its website, the European specialist claims to have performed more than 40,000 drone shows worldwide, both indoors and outdoors. The company has already made a name for itself in the Disney world with an advertisement for the Disney+ streaming platform and more recently with a choreography imagined in the Colosseum in Rome. One of the seven new Wonders of the World was used as a backdrop for the promotion of the Marvel Studios film The Eternals.
