Visiting Disneyland Paris with Children —Tips from Fans!

Disneyland Paris is the perfect playground for the whole family, including little ones. In this happy place, all their dreams can come true, and numerous attractions and activities are dedicated to them! Do you want to visit Disneyland Paris with a child but you’re still debating? We asked several Disneyland Paris fans for tips, as they are true experts when it comes to visiting our resort!

We have regularly taken our son to Disneyland Paris since he was 3 years old. And we have never regretted it and would always go so early. I will never forget his bright eyes on his first visit or his second visit when he walked through the Star Wars shop with gasping breath and others thought he needed a doctor. These are moments you never forget.

My little sister visited Disneyland Paris for the first time when she was less than 1 year old, we went to a meal with characters and she had a lot of fun. She looked at Pluto or Tigger as giant plushes and she loved that moment! Also, you’ll be happy to see your kids having fun. Everyone is happy at Disneyland París!

We usually head back to the hotel for a break around noon, whether it be for a short nap, to relax at the pool or grab a snack at the bar. We go back to the parks later in the afternoon after a nice break and with our energy level back up again.

Make sure your kids wear bracelets with their name and your phone number. They could get lost during your visit, so make sure other guests or cast members can easily connect with you.

When you wait in line, it’s nice to have fun and easy games to play with your kids! Try to keep them busy with a trivia game, show them the details of what’s around them, make them look for Hidden Mickeys when possible as well!

Good news is that you can rent strollers in the parks. If you have an Infinity annual pass it’s even free. This is also convenient for people who can’t or don’t want to bring a stroller in their small or fully packed car, on the plane or train.

When going to a restaurant, we bring things to keep our daughter busy while waiting, like coloring games. It is to be noted that kids’ meals are good value for money (even more so with an Annual Pass).

There are services that we all know about like Baby Care Center which enables you to take great care of babies with a few products for purchase, including baby food jars and diapers, and access to microwaves and bottle warmers for meals. Certain services help save time with the little ones, especially as they tend to get tired quickly: Extra Magic Time in the morning allows you to visit the parks with fewer people and get on rides faster. The Super Fastpass and Ultimate Fastpass (when available) to avoid lines when they’re running out of patience. Finally, the Rider Switch allows parents to take turns on thrill rides that are not suitable for younger children without having to line up again.

The Shopping Service enables you not to have to overload your stroller and to collect your purchases at the end of the day, so that you can continue your experience without having to carry them with you all day.

Baby cribs, high chairs, bottle warmers, kids’ menus, babysitting services in select hotels, and child rates…everything you can possibly need for a nice family visit in hotels and restaurants, even with little ones.

Don’t force the kids to pose for pictures if they don’t want to. Try to take natural photos of them having fun instead.

Disney and me, it's a long love story. I fell into it as a child and never got out. From movies to theme parks, through the history of the Walt Disney Company, to comic books, everything fascinates me.
